Is that question to me? If so no I don't think so. :)
I have some questions still concerning jitters, but I need to do some testing and reading first. But as it is 2am so it'll wait 'till tomorrow.
I guess there is know harm in throwing this question out now...
I could have swarn a couple of players were way more jittery that others. I read that it's because they're on default rates or something? But I guess most TFC pub players are. My netgraph was clean of yellow/orange dots but the jittering seems quite bad. But again I should really test more before posting this comment.
I also read .05 is good for smoothing those jitters out?

There are a million posts about this already. Just use 100 for updaterate. Idiots that thought they were getting an "advantage" by setting the cvar one higher than it actually goes started that whole trend..

Well, thanks for the input all. I believe I understand now. It is just that there is so much made up bollocks/ignorance and little fact; so I had to ask.
Ideally ex_interp 0 is the best but after testing it out I am unsure as to whether I can put up with this the jittering. It is quite off putting. And yes, net_graph 1 was free of yellow/orange dots.
I think I'll have to use interp 0.08 (or maybe 0.05) as it is a good balance, no? I think. And alter cl_updaterate per server via script.
