hey guys I found something kinda interesting (it was interesting, coz now I know it doesnt work) we know for 2-3 years ago you could use lightgamma 0 in dod and cs to see the enemies much better, but these days it doesnt work sadly and the game keeps crashing. Well now I found this script and copy/paste this shit in my userconfig and sadly it didnt work out and my dod crashed.. so my question is now is this just some old "script" or do I have to change a few things in the script and is there some way to get lightgamma 0 in dod like before

another shitty question: can I get somehow transparency doors (with a mdl file or spr file?) in dod 1.3 without using a wallhack - thx in advance

I think lightgamma had a max and/or min value added to it... So if you can't make it zero, you can't make it zero.

I don't know why it's crashing... Maybe there's an non terminating loop or something, or maybe it aliases something that shouldn't be aliased... or just a command that crashes it...
You can figure that out for yourself by //commenting out lines that you think are problematic.

I see you posted a request here to answer your second question. You could ask (contact them through their profiles, either PM or some other contact) them how they did it. (I didn't look at it... but I saw something about wads, which hold textures, so google a wad editor and mess with some 255 blue [transparency color?]...)

well I know why this cfg is crashing
lightgamma 0 is the problem it doesnt bypass fucking valve :/
