the command lastinv resets your speed, if you get shot and you lastinv you regain your normal running speed, if you jump and lose your speed, you regain your normal running speed.
so i have made a lastinv bunnyhop script which can make an anoying noise alot of the time, oh well.
| Code: |
// shorties
alias [%bum%+jp] "+jump"
alias [%bum%-jp] "-jump"
alias [%bum%lastinv] "lastinv"
alias [%bum%w] "wait"
alias [%bum%d1] "developer 1"
alias [%bum%d0] "developer 0"
alias [%bum%showguns0] "r_drawviewmodel 0"
alias [%bum%showguns1] "r_drawviewmodel 1"
alias [%bum%+moveleft] "+moveleft"
alias [%bum%-moveleft] "-moveleft"
alias [%bum%+moveright] "+moveright"
alias [%bum%-moveright] "-moveright"
alias [%bum%+left] "+left"
alias [%bum%-left] "-left"
alias [%bum%+right] "+right"
alias [%bum%-right] "-right"
// motd
alias [%bum%motdspeedbunnyhop1] "motdfile mymotd.txt;motd_write [speed bunnyhop 1];[%bum%d1];motd;[%bum%d0]"
alias [%bum%motdspeedbunnyhop0] "motdfile mymotd.txt;motd_write [speed bunnyhop 0];[%bum%d1];motd;[%bum%d0]"
// bunnyhop
alias +[%bum%bunnyhop] "alias _special [%bum%bunnyhop];[%bum%bunnyhop];[%bum%showguns0]"
alias -[%bum%bunnyhop] "alias _special;[%bum%-jp];[%bum%lastinv];alias [%bum%bhop] [%bum%+bhop];[%bum%showguns1]"
alias [%bum%bunnyhop] "[%bum%bhop];[%bum%w];special"
alias [%bum%bhop] "[%bum%+bhop]"
alias [%bum%+bhop] "[%bum%+jp];[%bum%lastinv];alias [%bum%bhop] [%bum%-bhop]"
alias [%bum%-bhop] "[%bum%-jp];[%bum%lastinv];alias [%bum%bhop] [%bum%+bhop]"
// turning
alias +[%bum%hopleft] "[%bum%+moveleft];[%bum%+left]"
alias -[%bum%hopleft] "[%bum%-moveleft];[%bum%-left]"
alias +[%bum%hopright] "[%bum%+moveright];[%bum%+right]"
alias -[%bum%hopright] "[%bum%-moveright];[%bum%-right]"
alias [%bum%hopturning1] "bind a +[%bum%hopleft];bind d +[%bum%hopright];[%bum%-left];[%bum%-right];[%bum%-moveleft];[%bum%-moveright]"
alias [%bum%hopturning0] "bind a +moveleft;bind d +moveright;[%bum%-left];[%bum%-right];[%bum%-moveleft];[%bum%-moveright]"
// bunnyhop toggler
alias [%bum%bunnyhoptog] "[%bum%bunnyhop1]"
alias [%bum%bunnyhop1] "+[%bum%bunnyhop];[%bum%hopturning1];alias [%bum%bunnyhoptog] [%bum%bunnyhop0]"
alias [%bum%bunnyhop0] "-[%bum%bunnyhop];[%bum%hopturning0];[%bum%w];[%bum%lastinv];alias [%bum%bunnyhoptog] [%bum%bunnyhop1]"
// bind toggler
alias [%bum%holdbunnyhoptog] "[%bum%holdbunnyhop1]"
alias [%bum%holdbunnyhop1] "bind space +[%bum%bunnyhop];[%bum%hopturning1];alias [%bum%holdbunnyhoptog] [%bum%holdbunnyhop0];[%bum%motdspeedbunnyhop1]"
alias [%bum%holdbunnyhop0] "bind space +jump;[%bum%hopturning0];alias [%bum%holdbunnyhoptog] [%bum%holdbunnyhop1];[%bum%motdspeedbunnyhop0]"
// binds
bind key1 "[%bum%holdbunnyhoptog]" //for binding to space toggle
bind key2 "[%bum%bunnyhoptog]" //for toggling bunnyhopping on/off
|
it uses a bit too many lastinvs than it should, but it works.
you can toggle to start bunnyhopping so you dont have to hold down space, and you can toggle to bind the bunnyhopping to space.
the %bum% is for if you want to make a batch file, i suspect this will not be very hlg friendly.
you might want to edit it so that it plays loud music whilst you bunnyhop
EDIT: updated. to not use m_pitch because m_pitch can be used to make other systems to fit in with this bunnyhop.
EDIT: updated2. now with bunnyhop turning, built into the toggles.
EDIT: updated3. now the toggle bunnyhop also has toggle turning.
EDIT: updated4. toggle turning anoying, removed.
EDIT: updated5. replaced %random% with %bum%.(Disclaimer: May not be true)

That looks cool...did you try it? Does it really remove the jump time? If yes, it rocks hell!

id ont know what you mean by 'remove the jump time', but its is very easy to regain speed, if you bump into a wall or something.
next time you play, get shot and lastinv to run to cover, you will not be slowed down by getting shot.
i added r_drawviewmodel because the game puts all your stuff in your left hand and blurs your guns switching, i guess it gets confused with all those lastinvs?
i might add that stopsounds command if people are anoyed with the rapid lastinv ticking.(Disclaimer: May not be true)

Wouldn't it be much simplier to do something like this?
| Code: |
alias "+LB2.bhop" "alias _special LB2.bhop;LB2.bhop"
alias "-LB2.bhop" "alias _special slot10;LB2.bhop-cyc2"
alias "LB2.bhop" "LB2.bhop-cyc;wait;special"
alias "LB2.bhop-cyc" "LB2.bhop-cyc1"
alias "LB2.bhop-cyc1" "+jump;alias LB2.bhop-cyc LB2.bhop-cyc2"
alias "LB2.bhop-cyc2" "-jump;alias LB2.bhop-cyc LB2.bhop-cyc1"
alias laster "alias m_pitch lastinv"
alias laster.off "alias m_pitch"
alias +lasti "laster"
alias -lasti "laster.off"
// Toggle Bunny Hop
alias bob.bhop "bbhop.on"
alias bbhop.on "alias bob.bhop bbhop.off;+LB2.bhop;laster;buns.on"
alias bbhop.off "alias bob.bhop bbhop.on;-LB2.bhop;laster.off;buns.off"
// Echo Bunny Hop
alias buns.on "motd_write **********-Bunny Hop On-**********;developer 1;motd;developer 0"
alias buns.off "motd_write **********-Bunny Hop Off-**********;developer 1;motd;developer 0"
bind "key" "+LB2.bhop;+lasti" // Normal Bhop with lastinv
bind "key" "bob.bhop" // Toggle Bhop with lastinv
|
That seems much simplier to me, though it doesn't have the model removal but never the less in theory it'd work just the same.

I think you'd have to be on a bunny hop server to not slow down when jumping, that's sort of what this script would be used for is on bhop servers only.

I have a question..is it nomal that I get really slow when I land after jumping? Before it wasn't so bad but now when I jump it's like if I land ducked and then I go forward for about half a second and then I stand and go... So I go really slowly and before it wasn't like that :S It's hard when you jump on an ennemy and you can't move really fast after :s

i started with m_pitch lastinv, but it just wasnt able to produce enough lastinvs per second for me.
the model remover is pretty much an essential as soon as you test my script without it. your script does not need it as it is lastinv-ing slowly.
i think that this might be enough for you, but not for me.
| Code: |
alias +[%o%bunnyhop] "alias _special [%o%bunnyhop];[%o%bunnyhop]"
alias -[%o%bunnyhop] "alias _special;-jump;lastinv;alias [%o%bhop] [%o%+bhop]"
alias [%o%bunnyhop] "[%o%bhop];wait;special"
alias [%o%bhop] "[%o%+bhop]"
alias [%o%+bhop] "+jump;lastinv;alias [%o%bhop] [%o%-bhop]"
alias [%o%-bhop] "-jump;lastinv;alias [%o%bhop] [%o%+bhop]"

Well how about instead I just bunny hop an spin in circles and get a lot of speed really faster then bounce around the map and not worry about lastinv? Or I could just as easily do it manualy ;).
How is yours all that complicated really, it has an m_pitch look in the bunny hop.

yea spinning in circles is good also, but if you are getting shot and you jump, you want to get away, not spin around.
m_pitch loop isnt fast enough so i added lastinv in with the _special loop for the bunnyhop.
it would be very hard to lastinv that quick manually, remove the r_drawviewmodel bit to see what i mean.(Disclaimer: May not be true)

Can this be used on non-bhop servers, will the script work on the servers?
Will this make hopping easier in non-bhop servers?What's up? :P

Doesn't that thing have trouble with all the %random%s? If it were in a batch they would all be different numbers.You just lost the game.

you should've done this
| Code: | | set prefix=%random% |
And replace all randoms by %prefix%

whats the point in that?
________
yes this bunnyhop script is good for bunnyhop servers, but its meant for bunnyhopping in normal servers, you will bunnyhop faster and you will regain speed quicker.
also if you get shot and you jump out of the way, with this you wont be slowed down.(Disclaimer: May not be true)

You use %random% in front of every alias, that means that every alias is different, so you can't call on other aliases because the alias is different.

That wont work, %random% is an actual OS variable, you can't set it.You just lost the game.

I slow down just as much with this as I do with a normal bhop script. :/You just lost the game.

yea if you jump into a wall or something you will be slowed down.
but if you start bunnyhopping slow, you automatically start bunnyhopping with speed.
so if you have just been shot (slowed down from the bullet), and you bunnyhop normally you will be bunnyhopping slow, but if you get shot with this and you bunnyhop, you will be bunnyhopping fast, because lastinv resets your speed.(Disclaimer: May not be true)
